Warrior, Strength or Weapon Attr or what?
Hello,
I would have thought this question had been debated before but I can't find any info on it - please direct me to a link if it has. If not please give me your ideas on whether it is best to increase strength attribute or weapon attribute in order to do the most damage and or is it best to improve your chance of getting critical hits rather than say using an armor penetration skill.
(I'm crap at maths so the damage calculations on wiki make my brain hurt - can't understand it!)
Thanks

Always run weapon attribute > strength.

Weapon attribute at max first. Even if strength worked on every hit (which it doesn't) it'd still be better to increase weapon attribute rather than strength.

weapon attribute. strength's effect (without counting it's skills) is easily the most useless primary attribute.

Weapon attribute. Strength only affects skills, which is pretty useless anyway seeing the bonus damage dealt from attack skills already ignore armor.

I'm not a big fan of strength at all.
Lately I've been runnin 16 in my weapon, 12+1 in tactics, and only the remaining points in strength. To get kiters, I use unlinked runnin skills such as Dash or others that can work with a low rank like Rush, Pious Haste.
Even if for some crazy reason you decided to run 15 strength just to add damage to your attack skills, it still wouldn't be worth it at all since the AP from strength barely adds any damage.

What I run tends toward weapon at 16, other attributes where needed, anything left into strength.

if your going for high damage and offense, put 15 or 16 in weapon mastery. (15 is kind of a break point). i keep 15 because for example--a skill will do say..+31 damage at 16 and +30 at 15...so it gives you some more attributes and has almsot no difference. keep tactics at 11 or 12 (maybe 13) and keep strength at 8 or 9. i only use strength for flail, sprint and enraging charge.
